Eric graduated from Colorado State University in 1992 and has spent the last 25 years gaining experience across the globe in the field of site and civil engineering. His work has brought him to Saudi Arabia, Dubai, London, the forests of Guyana, South America, to the frozen tundra of East Russia, and to the diverse landscape of Western Colorado.
With 31 years of professional experience and four years in the trades while in college, Eric earned his professional experience in construction first as an estimator for Brown & Root and then as Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, and Project Director positions for international projects. Working in construction allowed Eric to pay his way through engineering school, where he was mentored by several faculty members and ultimately the Engineering Group Manager at Jacobs Engineering to complete the rigorous training required to receive his engineering license. Eric became a Professional Engineer in 2000.
He continued his construction and engineering careers in parallel paths allowing him to develop a keen understanding of the land planning and development processes that all construction projects experience in order to receive local, state, and on larger projects, national government approvals. This invaluable experience allowed him the opportunity to develop the communication skills necessary to work with agency professionals.
